If a person who has been appointed as Personal Representative becomes unqualified by virtue of improper domicile, conviction of a felony, or, more commonly if the Personal Representative has abused or neglected his/her position, an action may be filed to remove that Personal Representative. Upon removal, a Personal Representative may be ordered to pay the attorneys’ fees of the person who had him/her removed.
