Various Florida Statutes require that a Trustee provide beneficiaries with financial information. Most Trusts, regardless of whether the Trust document provide that no accounting is necessary, fall within the mandatory accounting statutes found within the Florida Trust Code. Surprisingly, many Trustees fail to make accountings as required by law, even after request by a beneficiary.
